Testimonials
Youth Voices
I volunteer with Vibha because I want to help make a difference for kids who don’t always have the same opportunities as everyone else. Seeing how even small efforts can have a positive impact has shown me how important it is to give back to my community. Photography connects to that in a similar way. I like taking photos because they can capture real emotions, memories, and stories that people might not notice otherwise. Whether I’m volunteering or taking pictures, I enjoy finding ways to connect with others and create something meaningful that can have a lasting impact

I volunteer for Vibha because I believe every child deserves access to opportunities that help them learn, grow, and succeed. Through Vibha, I can contribute to meaningful projects that support children’s education and well-being while making a positive impact in my community. Volunteering also allows me to develop leadership skills and work alongside others who are passionate about making a change!

I have been involved in vibha activities since my sophomore year and I was a photographer at the 2025 dream mile. I was also a photographer at the vibha banquet event and at the changemakers event at Georgia Tech. This year i will be serving as the secretary for south forsyth vibha. I can’t wait for the upcoming events this year and I am excited to make an impact that benefits everyone!!

I volunteer for Vibha because I believe every child deserves access to education and opportunities to succeed regardless of their background. Giving my time to this cause allows me to make a meaningful impact in my community while also supporting a cause that creates a lasting change. Through Vibha, I’ve also personally developed leadership and communication skills while simultaneously helping improve the lives of these children

Volunteering with Vibha, I learned that a community never breaks apart and I want to be a part of a group of people who do things together as a family. I chose to volunteer with Vibha because I love to help people and will offer my assistance in any place I can. Vibha has also taught me many lessons like timelyness, teamwork, and gratefulness. I feel very fulfilled helping kids like those in Hyderabad and I am so lucky to be a part of this organization
Priyanshi Jain
Youth Volunteer
I have been involved with Vibha for the past ten years, consistently either participating or volunteering in the Dream Mile. I joined my school’s chapter in freshman year, and have been the VP of Marketing since sophomore year. I volunteer with Vibha because this organization has an incredible impact on a wide range of communities, making it one of the most valuable ways to volunteer. I support the cause of empowering children everywhere with education, and do anything I can to contribute towards that goal. Super excited for the upcoming year and all the impact that us youth leads will make!

I volunteer through Vibha because I truly believe every kid deserves a fair shot at a great education. Leading our school’s chapter gives me the chance to work with an amazing group of students who are all driven to make a real difference. For me, it’s about more than just giving back—it’s about helping build a future where a child’s circumstances don’t limit their potential

Volunteering with Vibha Atlanta allows me to combine my passion for helping others with my desire to make a positive difference in a needed environment. Every event reminds me that even small contributions can have a meaningful impact. I love the fact that now we can help and contribute in India directly for kids who are in need!
Tejshree Ratnakar
Youth Volunteer
I choose to volunteer for Vibha, as it allows me to be of service to where my parents came from, and helping out where my family came from is a rewarding experience, and everyone deserves to have a good education, no matter who they are or where they come from. I am excited to see what we can accomplish together to advance Vibha’s mission.
Sarthak Jesthi

I chose to volunteer with Vibha because it offers a meaningful way to support my heritage and give back to my home country from across the globe, while simultaneously uniting and strengthening our Indian community here in Georgia. What truly sets Vibha apart for me is how deeply youth volunteers are empowered to drive key decisions and make a tangible impact

I volunteer with Vibha because it reinforces my belief that each of us has the power to make a difference in someone’s life. Every morning, I feel grateful to be part of an organization like Vibha, one that continually echoes the timeless words of Swami Vivekananda: “Arise, awake, and stop not till the goal is reached.
