Making a Difference Where It Matters Most
ICS STEM LAB
Why
Many students at ICS come from low-income, refugee, or immigrant families and face significant educational gaps, particularly in science and technology. The initiative aims to bridge these STEM gaps by equipping students with 21st-century skills while fostering innovation, problem-solving, and creativity.
Impact
The STEM lab provides weekly, hands-on STEM experiences for approximately 500 elementary students, helping them build critical thinking, creativity, innovation, and confidence through real-world projects. It strongly supports ICS’s mission to prepare children for the future and break cycles of educational disadvantage, backed by an investment of $50,000 in the 2024–25 year.
How
The state-of-the-art STEM lab is supported by Vibha in partnership with ICS and provides hands-on learning using tools such as 3D printers, drones, robotics kits, and essential lab equipment. A dedicated full-time STEM teacher leads the program, with Georgia Tech students and clubs helping design the space and curriculum to make learning engaging, practical, and relevant.
Location
The Lab located at 2251 Caladium Dr NE, Atlanta, GA 30345, USA, within the International Community School (ICS), a public charter school serving kindergarten through grade 5 students in the DeKalb County / Decatur–Atlanta area.

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA)
Why
Medical treatments can be prohibitively expensive for many families, and no child should have to miss out on life-saving care due to financial constraints.
Impact
In 2023, Vibha Atlanta contributed $20,000 to CHOA as part of its annual fundraising efforts. CHOA spends roughly $74 million every year in unreimbursed medical care, ensuring access for families regardless of their income, making a profound difference in the lives of countless children.
How
The Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Foundation works with donors and volunteers to fund critical medical treatments, including cancer care, organ transplants, and fracture treatments for children who would otherwise be unable to afford it.
Location
CHOA operates across multiple locations in the Atlanta area (Headquarters: 1575 Northeast Expressway, Atlanta, GA).
