These simple and memorable words, "One small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind", accompanied purposeful action of a nation. On September 27, 2003 thousands of Atlantans will each take a few purposeful steps that will bring the moon to many a needy child. The event will bring awareness to the cause of underprivileged children - who without our help may not have the future they deserve.
Yes, Atlantans take a few purposeful steps ... A child's future takes a giant leap!
Proceeds from the VIBHA 5K will benefit underprivileged children in India and the Atlanta Day Shelter for Women & Children.
Vibha 5K is organized in association with the India Club of Georgia Tech.
